PCI compliance is compliance with The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), a set of requirements intended to ensure that all companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Since Payment Brokers does not access, process, store or transmit sensitive credit card information we are not required to meet PCI standards, however, we do follow many of the PCI compliance standards and go above and beyond with layers of additional security, privacy and regulatory compliance standards. This includes encryption of data through Amazon, restricted data access on a “need to know” basis, use of updated antivirus software, use of company-issued devices and tracking by ActiveTrak, high-frequency password updates as well as Two-factor Authentication (2FA), no physical copies of any information, secure document storage through box.com, 3rd party employee screening and background checks and more.
